Janet Clippard spent most of her musical career as the assistant principal bassist of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra. Presently, she is a member of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra. As a founding member of the American Sinfonietta, a professional chamber orchestra, she toured annually playing in the great concert halls of Europe such as Vienna's Musikverein. Ms. Clippard has also performed with the Jacksonville Symphony and the Florida Orchestra. She has collaborated in chamber music with such groups as the Austrian String Quartet, the Miami String Quartet, the Amernet String Quartet and the Highlands-Cashiers Festival Quintet.

 Janet Clippard was the assistant librarian for the Houston Symphony from 2005 through 2007. Currently, she is the music librarian for the Atlantic Classical Orchestra and Associate Editor of Double Bass Music for St. Francis Music Publications.
